Be a Blessing

Screen Shot 2014-11-11 at 7.48.52 AMMay your living today be fruitful!

As the old song tell us:

“If I can help somebody, as I pass along,

If I can cheer somebody, with a word or song,

If I can show somebody, how they’re traveling wrong,

Then my living shall not be in vain.

If I can do my duty, as a good man ought,

If I can bring back beauty, to a world up wrought,

If I can spread love’s message, as the Master taught,

Then my living shall not be in vain.”

WALK WITH THE KING AND BE A BLESSING THIS DAY!

Basking in The Presence of His Peace

Dear Child,

Peace, peace, my peace I give you even in the storms, sense my presence through my peace. Be still and know that I am God. In the stillness of the moment basking in my presence that you might be refreshed and encouraged. Allow my presence, peace and encouragement to sweep over you!

Don’t faint weary pilgrim, allow me to be your God, the glory and lifter of your head. Don’t be afraid of stillness, in that stillness you are in my presence and tasting a little of eternity for you are stopping time for a moment.

                                        Thus saith Papa

Psa. 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

During this time of uncertainty and unrest in our world we must not allow the enemy to rob us of our peace of mind. For he comes to steal and destroy and rob us of our freedom and the Word tells us “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36

Serenity is not necessarily freedom from the storm, but peace amid the storm.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation:but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

It is said that the eye of the storm is always the safest place to be. Storms may arise within us and around us but in the center lies a calm. We find that center by pressing into His presence wherein lies that peace that passes understanding.

Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee:when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned;neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

CHALLENGE: In these uncertain times we can no longer afford NOT to  invest more time than ever before in stillness before God basking in His presence and peace.

May my book DEVELOPING A SECRET HISTORY WITH GOD encourage and inspire you to press into His presence.  Available also on Ebook and Kindle from Amazon/Barnes/or a bookstore near you

The Miracle of You!

Truly appreciate the miracle of who you are. The fact that you are alive, you have eyes to see, ears to hear, hands to touch, feet to walk, imagination that you can dream! Focus on being thankful for all you do have. You have water to quench your thirst, the sun that warms you and the air you breathe. As you practice being thankful, expand the list of things that you are thankful for: e.g. family, friends, clothes, food, etc.

Excerpt from “DEVELOPING A SECRET HISTORY WITH GOD” page 147 Available from Barnes/Amazon

“Bless the Lord oh my soul, and forget not all his benefits” (Psalm 103:2)

And you will find GOOD in the day and the week ahead.

Who is to Blame?

Screen Shot 2014-11-09 at 12.32.27 AM

Yes, we are all in the blame game ever since the Garden of Eden.

And the snake is still the great accuser of the brethren. But praise God we have an advocate with the Father, our Great High Priest who ever lives to make intercession for us because He took our place and paid the price for our guilt. He became our scapegoat, we no longer need to play the blame game looking for a scapegoat for we already have one.

And so you see the snake still doesn’t have a leg to stand on!

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Purpose for the Hard Knocks in Life

images-2

My favorite character from the Old Testament is Joseph and nobody can testify to those hard knocks in life more than he can. Being sold into slavery by his brothers. Then being imprisoned after being falsely accused by his owner’s wife. These hard knocks eventually opened doors to opportunity and greatness. Many years later his brothers had to face this man of great power in Egypt to whom Joseph simply replied “But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good.” Genesis 20:50

When faced with those hard knocks we can also claim Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
