So thankful that these special friends were with me in those dark winter times as well as sunny summer times!

Keeping romance alive, honest, open communication, companionship by sharing each others’ passions and hobbies and lastly but by no means least the union of two awfully good forgivers. We are brother and sister in the Lord, we are friends and we are lovers
Only 6% of marriages last 50 years or more according to several US Census reports. As John and I celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary today we are so thankful to be part of that 6% and give honor to God who has graced us over the years since 18th July 1964. We are what society today call “Lifers” It truly has been a triune commitment between John, myself and the Lord.

When we left for our honeymoon back in 1964 it was on a motorcycle and sidecar and 51 years later we are still riding a motorcycle! Attending a motorcycle rally this past week we came across this motorcycle and sidecar. What memories!
Genesis 2:22-24 Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

We travelled up to Cold Spring, New York to accept an invitation to minister at the Walter Hoving Home Rehab for women on Sunday evening. In the morning we attended the morning service at Church on the Hill where the director of the home, Beth Greco’s husband pastors. After the worship Tim Greco ask me to greet the congregation and to my surprise asked if I possibly had something to share with the church instead of his sermon. Talk about being instant in season and out of season! Beth said if he had put her on a spot like that she would have had his life! LOL !
I certainly learned a lesson in obedience as I stepped up to the platform without notes, preparation or even my Bible and only the leading of the Holy Spirit. Would you believe I shared a word that the pastor had previously prepared to share? So awesome to witness the Holy Spirit move in this way!
CHALLENGE:-Don’t only memorize but also practice the following scriptures for you never know when the Lord will call upon you!
2 Timothy 4:2-5 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Peter 2:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear
Praying that the sleeping giant the church will wake up and take a stand like this Rabbi!
Where are the voices of the leaders of the Lord’s army?
Ephesians 5:14-16 Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
The Church is called to action not passivity!
Luke 19:13 Occupy till I come.
1 Timothy 1:12 Fight the good fight of faith.

Dear Father,
As I sit in silent contemplation and admire the beauty of the work of your hands, hear the birds sing your praises, feel the heat of the sun, and be covered by a cloudless sky, I am amazed, for surely these all declare your majesty and awesomeness!
As I reflect, I have to question who am I that you would be concerned with me? I will never fathom Your love and mercy and yet I believe it with all my heart.
Oh, Papa, may my life declare your majesty and grace as much as the creation of nature echoes your awesomeness!
Dear Child,
Creation just naturally fulfills the purpose it was created for. It doesn’t strive to do anything else! It never doubts My sovereignty but without effort awaits each season, knowing each season has a unique purpose.
But I cannot commune with nature, I cannot fellowship with nature. Only man was created in My image, to fellowship and commune with Me!
All of this beauty was created for man! And man was created to relate to Me!
As you commune and fellowship with Me, your life is declaring My majesty and mercy, for by faith in My mercy, you are trusting My sovereignty and majesty! You are a vessel to display that majesty and mercy, but you must allow Me to fill the vessel daily or you will run dry
Thus saith Papa
Psa 8:3 -4 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Jer 18:2-4 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
Just as creation brings glory to His name by simply fulfilling its purpose, even so, as we fellowship with Him we are fulfilling the reason He created us in His image; that we might have the capacity to commune with Him.
As we make that journey each day to the Potter’s house, we are yielding to His sovereign Hand, as He molds and shapes us into a vessel for His glory and honor to display His faithfulness and mercy on the earth.
CHALLENGE: Are you making that journey each day to the Potter’s house, and spending time on the wheel that He may mold your life that it might display, not only the signature of the Creator, but also His majesty and grace.
