Don’t pull His Body out of joint

Dear Child,

You know Me better as you spend time with My Body on earth. That is why unity is so important, then you can hear clearly from the Head and the anointing will flow!

My Body is so pulled apart in one direction or another, lay aside differences that are often only opinions, for the sake of unity. Would you cut My Body asunder for the sake of an opinion and wanting to be right!

If you love Me do what you can to protect against splits that hurt My Body, be the healing ointment to the weaker parts, that they may be healed, and that healing will knit them together again as one.

How can the anointing flow from the Head down over the Body of My church if there is not unity?

Child, do your part and be an influence to unit My Body in these last days, that there might be a great harvest, and a mighty move of My presence among My people!

                                                               Thus saith Papa

Psa 133:1 -2 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

John 17:20  -21 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

Our heavenly Papa has invested a part of Himself in each of His children. As we get to know each other and recognize that investment, we realize just how much we need our brothers and sisters if we are going to know Him more fully. As we grow to know Him more fully we will grow to be more gracious than righteous towards each other, thereby protecting His Body from division. The word of the Lord concerning His death is prophetically declared in  Psa 22:14  I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; and even today His bones are still being pulled out of joint by divisions within His Body.

Challenge: How can we say we love the Head if we do not love His Body? What opinion or right could you surrender today for the sake of unity in His Body?

How to have 20/20 Spiritual Vision

Dear Father,

Help me to get “life” into perspective that everyday living may not consume my time leaving nothing for my

unique purpose.

Dear Child,

Do not loose focus!

Focus brings life into perspective.

Focus directs your steps.

Focus sets your boundaries and protects your treasure.

Without focus your time, resources and abilities just drift through an

hourglass like grains of sand, without

accomplishing eternal purpose.

Don’t pour out your life without focus and purpose.

Day by day stay focused and add daily to fulfilling your purpose!

To receive a calling takes a moment.

To fulfill a calling takes a lifetime.

                      Thus saith Papa

1 Cor 15:58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Neh 6:3  And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?

Nehemiah was enticed, misunderstood, questioned, lied about, offered a safer way, and even the religious leaders tried to fill him with fear, and yet he stayed focused and never once deviated from “his great work” of building for God!

Challenge: Oh Lord, may I have the same spirit of steadfastness of purpose that marked

the life of  Nehemiah.

Personally I know this to be true. As a young woman I knew I was called to teach God’s Word. But it wasn’t until now in my later years I culminated this calling into a book. It has taken a lifetime of mountain top and valley walks with the Lord to have an authentic voice to pen the message of the book. “Developing a Secret History with God”.

My Audience of One

On a sunny day in June, I was sitting in my garden of prayer, where I daily converse with the Lord. I admit I had a discouraged heart that morning, and found myself wondering if all my hours of labor on my website was invain, not knowing if it was bringing life to others. God used this moment to speak this word of exhortation to my heart.

Dear Child,

Listen to the birds, look at the beauty of the roses! The birds sing unto Me regardless if man appreciates them or applauds them! The roses bloom and scent the air, regardless if man appreciates them or applauds them! They fulfill the purpose of their creation, regardless of appreciation or applause from man.

They bring glory to My Name, by naturally without reasoning or questioning, doing that which, I, the Creator planned for them. They do it just to bring Me joy!

Child, may your life continue to blossom,

May your life continue to give fragrance,

Regardless of appreciation or applause from man!

The birds don’t reason, nobody is appreciating my song, so I won’t sing today!

Nor do the roses reason, nobody is admiring me today, so I will stop blooming and giving fragrance!

Child, do not reason or question, simply sing, bloom and gave fragrance through your writing just for Me!

                                                           Thus saith Papa

Cor. 15:58  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Rev. 4:11  Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

CHALLENGE: May this word of exhortation encourage your heart as it did mine, and remind you of “Your Audience of One” who sees and knows all your labor of love.

P.S. Mothers, this challenge is especially for you, for all the unnoticed, often not appreciated mundane things you do everyday.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

Pathway to Maturity

Dear Child,

To lose life in the flesh, is to find life in the spirit.

The cross is self-denial, and doing that which I have ordained for you.

The cross is the key to obedience.

Obedience is the key to maturity

Maturity is the key to conformity to the image of My Son.

Take up the cross for the cross is the way to death of the flesh.

Don’t try to save that which satisfies the flesh for if it is starved it will die.

If it dies you will find spiritual resurrection and power

Thus saith Papa

Mat 10:38-39 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Heb 5:8 -9 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

There is no easy, painless path to maturity, the flesh must be crucified by daily taking up the cross.

We will never learn obedience without daily taking up our cross.

We will never mature without obedience.

We will never be conformed to His image without maturity.

Challenge: Which area of your old fleshly nature needs to be crucified by taking up the cross of self-denial in that area? Then you can state with conviction, “ Not my will but thine be done!”

REFLECT this HOLY WEEK

This coming week between Palm Sunday and Easter morning is known as Holy Week.

The most somber and reflective week on the church calendar. Perhaps the only time, during the year, that as believers we actually reflect on the awesome cost of our redemption.

1 Peter 1: 18-19 18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Surely we should all ask God, especially during this holy week, to take us back to the place where we first believed, to the foot of the cross. To the place where we can identify with his sufferings that we might be partakers of His resurrection.1Peter 4:13

He was betrayed, humiliated, spat upon, mocked, abandoned, not believed, wept in the Garden in prayer until he sweat blood, denied, lashed until He was almost dead, nailed to a cross He had to carry, forsaken by His Father because He became sin for us, yet while hanging in excruciating pain between heaven and earth, He could cry out “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do!”

Isa.53: 2 -10 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin.

The level of our meditative reflection during this holy week, will determine and intensify the fullness of our joy come Sunday morning when the stone was rolled away to reveal an empty tomb. Joy unspeakable and full of glory!

He is risen! He is risen indeed!
