A Total Solar Eclipse

Could this phenomenon of a total solar eclipse tomorrow have anything to do with prophecy?

Could this phenomenon of the century have anything to do with prophecy?

As the stars shine in a darkened sky for two minutes in the middle of the day tomorrow have anything to do with prophecy?

Maybe so, maybe not, at least it should cause us to stop and think and consider our relationship to the God of creation for sooner or later His Truth will come to pass.

Luke 21: 25-28 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

What a Day Of Rejoicing That Will Be!

What a day that will be when we all get to heaven and reunite with Christian family and friends that we haven’t seen for years!

We got a little taste of that joy last night, quite by chance, or should I say by divine appointment, when we had dinner unexpectedly with Pastor Jim and Pat Terrili whom we haven’t seen for over twenty years. We had not been in touch for years as the Lord had taken us to different fields of ministry. As we chatted last night catching up with each others lives it was like we had never been apart all those years. We spent so much time  sharing with each other about the valleys and the victories we had all walked with the Lord since we had lost touch with each other. We even closed the restaurant LOL. But at that Great Reunion we will not run out of time! Praise the Lord!

Three of the Greatest Saints in His Kingdom.

Mark 10:44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

Who is the greatest in the Kingdom? Angel, Lourdes and Sam have all served us in so many ways in our ministry and personally. They have encouraged and cheered us to mountain tops, stood with us and walked through many valleys with us lifting our arms when we grew weary. May they be an inspiration to us all. They have been God’s Hand extended to us so many times! Thank you, Lord, for these servants and dear friends you placed in our lives.

Live One Day At A Time

As we enjoyed a serving of dumplings at our favorite Chinese restaurant we had no idea that an hour later I would be on my way to New York Presbyterian hospital after a fall for an emergency surgery on my hip!

Surely we need to be in the moment and enjoy the present as truly a gift from the Lord. Now I am not saying that The Lord is not with us in the valleys as well as the mountain tops. As I look back on the past five weeks I see evidence of His presence and care in many ways as I begin to recover and learn to walk again. But it is the level of our appreciation during those happy moments that give us the unwavering faith to walk with Him through the valleys He allows in our lives.

Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of tomorrow; For thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

CHALLENGE: Enjoy the gift of every moment today. Walk with the King and be a blessing!

We Need Fathers after God’s Heart
