With my young grandson, Misganaw, attending the outdoor Christmas Eve service at the church’s amphitheater in Austin Texas.

A ribbon of red cascading down the corridors of history,
A ribbon of blue unfurling from heaven,
Enveloped in wrapping of white swaddling clothes,
Sealed with a golden stamp of the Father’s approval
The wondrous gift is given.
Planned from the beginning of time.
Costing more than this world could ever afford.

Take a few moments from all the hustle and bustle of the season to be inspired as you listen to the Hallelujah chorus sweep over your soul as it restores the spiritual joy of Christmas.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
He comes bearing gifts of pardon, forgiveness, reconciliation, grace, mercy, peace, joy, and everlasting life. It is the only gift that truly keeps on giving.
