A Legacy Lives On

Rev. Dr. Charles Reynolds O. B. E. who was my uncle, invested his life in ministry in India. He and his wife, Maud, spend two missionary terms in the remote forest villages of India. He served as Executive Director of Ludhiana Christian Medical College in the Punjab for many years raising millions of dollars for the college, spent time with Mother Teresa, Mrs. Ghandi and the Dalia Lama, sponsored and opened schools, churches, and medical facilities. He also penned several books about India. In 1995 my uncle was awarded The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by the Queen for his many years of service to India and in 1998 he was honored with the award of a “Talwar” the Sword of Honor, by the citizens of Ludhiana for his forty years of dedication.
Now many years later I recently met Pastor Fredrick Anthuraj who ministers in Bangalore and is the Director of Aid 2 India International. He has invited John and myself to minister there in the coming year. Pastor Fredrick will also be working on translating my book “Developing a Secret History with God” into his native language.
Thanking God for the open door to invest part of my life in my uncles’ legacy in India.

Praying For Israel

It was a privilege to chat for a while with Robert Ilato, a member of the Knesset, Israel’s unicameral parliament, the country’s legislative body. Robert is also the Chairman of “Israel Beitenu” Faction and Chairman of the Israeli Hi-tech Caucus. As we shared I identified somewhat with the terrorism in Israel as I am from Belfast Northern Ireland where many of my family lived through the horrifying acts of the terrorism of the IRA.
Whatever the country or whatever the cause, terrorists are a worldwide family most of whom are trained in Syria.
This may be the closest I’ll ever be to the political government of Israel but we can all be spiritually close as we faithfully pray for this country which is the roots of our Christian faith. Israel not only gave us God’s Word but also gave us our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee Peace be within thy walls.
Standing With Israel

We attended the Assembly of God International Fellowship North Eastern Conference in Norwalk Connecticut this week. The theme was One God… One Word… One Truth… John 17:17 and the emphasis was on our relationship to Israel. What a joy to stand behind a pulpit draped in the Israeli flag.

The Three Graces

The famous Antonio Canova’s statue is a Neoclassical sculpture, in marble and is known in Greek mythology as The Three Graces, namely Euphrosyne, Aglaea and Thalia, goddesses of such things as charm, beauty, and joy. This statue may stand in the famous Louvre Museum in Paris but the above photo is the true picture of charm, beauty and joy of The Three Graces, namely Irina, Maggie and Elaine, ladies of true grace formed by the love of the Lord on the Potters wheel.
Jeremiah 18:2-3 I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter:so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
