My Prayer

MargaretBass-31

As I spend time each day journaling my time with God, I am inspired by the following prayer that is framed on my office wall, as a motivation each morning as I prepare to walk with the King and be a blessing by His grace and power throughout the day.

“Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved, as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.”

Spiritual Warfare

When you are wounded or offended in the flesh, allow it to be an opportunity to die to the flesh that you might grow in the spirit.You cannot have a VICTORY in the spirit unless there is a DEFEAT in the flesh. © MJB

Galatians 5:16 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other.

Live More Abundantly

Dear Child,

“An abundant life is not a life full of busyness

But rather an abundant life is a life full of Me.”

Thus saith Papa

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly

Woman To Woman

img_0052

I am a woman who has been abused by men both in my childhood and as an adult. I have come to know God’s forgiveness in my own life so have the grace to extend forgiveness to my offenders. Please note I did not say that I am defending them but as I am daily being conformed to His image I am learning to forgive as He does for all of us who seek Him.

I am writing this mostly to Christian women who have received God’s forgiveness but will not give Donald Trump the same forgiveness for deplorable words said 11 years ago. Please note I did not say defend him.

If you are withholding your forgiveness because of personal hurt from a man please do not avenge your pain at the great expense of the future of the Supreme Court of the USA.

You know how important the woman’s vote is in this election and I am asking you, even if you do not like Trump’s personality, to unselfishly put your emotional response aside for the sake of future generations and the USA and please vote the following issues:

1. Vote for constitutional supreme court judges.

2. Vote on behalf of the millions of babies who are aborted every year.

3. Vote on behalf of support and respect for Israel.

4. Vote on behalf of our police and military.

5. Vote for our veterans instead of tax payer dollars being spent on illegal immigrants.

6. Vote to have Obama care overturned.

7. Vote for lesser taxes and lesser government in our lives.

8. Vote for a stronger leader against Islamic Terrorism and keep us safe.

9. Vote to protect the Second Amendment.

10.Vote for jobs being brought back to the USA.

By not voting for Trump you are in fact voting for Clinton who will NOT further our above conservative principles but who will continue Obama’s socialistic policies.

Pastor Rick Scarborough states “I often hear people say rather piously, ‘I will not vote for the lesser of two evils,’ but every vote for a human candidate is exactly that…voting for the lesser of two evils. For the Christian, not voting is not an option. Since Jesus is NOT running, a flawed candidate must be chosen. Our challenge is finding a flawed candidate whom we believe will best represent our values.”

Franklin Graham put it so well “Trump and Clinton scandals might be news for the moment, but who they appoint to the Supreme Court will remake the fabric of our society for our children and our grandchildren, for generations to come.

This is the most important election of my lifetime. I want the church to wake up. The church has to vote. America needs to hear the voice of God’s people.”

Well, as women, we have a heavy responsibly when we stand in that voting booth in a few weeks.

Beware! For we will not be voting for a personality, we will be voting for the legacy we will leave our children and grandchildren. We will be voting for the future of the Supreme Court and our religious freedom which will effect this nation for more than four years but rather for generations to come! Once a Supreme Court Judge is chosen they are there for life! In other words our vote will be in concrete.

Which legacy do you want to leave your children?

A court of liberal judges nominated by Hilary Clinton who will take our nation down this slippery slope of socialism, globalism and anti God decisions?

OR

A court of constitutional judges who will protect our religious freedom, like the late Judge Antonin Scalia, nominated by Donald Trump who will rule by interpreting the law rather than making the law from the bench?

Franklin Graham agrees “This election is about the Supreme Court.”

I feel just as Thomas Jefferson did when he wrote this word

“I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; and that His justice cannot sleep forever.” –
