Our Passover Lamb

During Holy Week I invite you to watch my teaching video on “OUR PASSOVER LAMB” It will inspire you and give you some fresh manna to feed on as you see prophecies that were written hundreds of years apart, by authors of all ages and backgrounds, as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit, unfold before your spiritual eyes.

It will leave us with no other conclusion except as the centurion at the foot of the cross declared “Truly this man was the Son of God” Mark 16:39

The Heavy Burdens of The Mind

Screen Shot 2016-03-25 at 9.44.16 AM

In India women do all the carrying of gravel, sand, cement. These precious ladies work all day in 100 degree weather carrying bricks or sand on their heads to the construction sight for only 40 rupees a day that is a mere 60cents!

The Lord used this as a window to my soul. I was reminded of the heavy burdens we carry on our heads in our minds, often in the 100 degree weather of fiery trials to the construction sight of our lives where we will earn not a mere 60 cents a day, but rather a life full of stress, condemnation and hopelessness.

Instead we should carry these thoughts of condemnation, hurt, disappointment and worthlessness, which weigh on our minds much heavier than the bricks these Indian ladies are carrying, to the construction sight of the Cross where we can exchange them for the Helmet of Salvation as God reconstructs our lives with forgiveness, mercy, peace and joy.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world:but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Ephesians 6:16-17 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light

More Precious Than Gold

This E-mail touched my heart! I received it from the young Hindu man who had cycled over 25 miles in 100 degree sweltering weather to church last Sunday because his English teacher had shared my testimony of healing with him. What a privilege to pray with him to receive God’s love. He made the effort to write to me even though he says he doesn’t speak good English. I wish I could speak Indian as well as he speaks English LOL

Sights to See and Beautiful People to Meet

thumb_IMG_0717_1024

Monday morning found us getting used to the hectic crowded traffic on our way to share at a prayer meeting at the bishop’s church in downtown Bangalore. There were interesting sights everywhere we looked from trucks ladened with fresh produce from the farms, to some trucks just ladened with people! In the middle of all the activity a lone woman washing her clothes by beating them on a stone step as cows meander through the traffic.

How inspiring and humbling to minister to these faithful prayer warriors. I was so uplifted by their prayers for us as John and I prayed for them.

In the afternoon we took a cab to a local shopping mall to enjoy a cappuccino before preparing for an evening service in a different part of the city. A local church had invited us to a celebration for the pastor’s son’s first birthday. This is a popular tradition in India. The pastor asked us to come back and minister again on Easter Sunday but we will be in Coimbatore ministering at Pastor Harry Gomes’ church. We left with new friends and an invitation to minister again in their church the next time we are in India.

Tomorrow will be a day to catch up with friends on the internet, rest and pack as we leave early Wednesday morning for a five  hour drive to Coimbatore and new divine appointments and experiences.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.

Pray For The People Of India

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God.

We prayed as we passed several Hindu temples on our way to the rally on Saturday where I was so honored to be invited as one of the speakers. What a privilege to greet and get to know some of the local pastors and their lovely families.

John thought he was going to a motor cycle rally instead of a Christian rally as we passed hundreds and hundreds of motorcycles and scooters parked everywhere!.LOL We seldom saw a scooter with only one passenger. In fact we saw, as per our photo, whole families riding on one scooter! The traffic is so chaotic due to the volume of traffic and the fact that there are no lanes makes the roadways a free for all. It certainly built on our faith on traveling mercies! Giving the following scripture a whole new meaning!

Psalm 91:11-12 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
