There is a Time and a Season for Everything

IMG_0166Dear Father,

May I never cease to praise You for the works of Your hand, as I look at my garden in the autumn how it manifests not only Your glory but also Your faithfulness in the seasons of the earth.

Oh, Papa, as I place my life, body, soul and spirit in Your hands, the hands of the great Husbandman, may the garden of my life  also bring glory to Your name and display Your faithfulness in the changing seasons of my life.

Everything in my garden has a unique purpose, and therein lies the beauty and the glory for everything in my garden, that it fulfills its unique purpose in Your timing. All so different and yet all so beautiful.

Papa may I also bloom in my uniqueness in Your timing.

Dear Child,

Therein lies the glory that you bloom in your uniqueness, for then you are fulfilling the purpose of your creation.

Watered from heaven, nourished by the Word, faithfully tend the garden of your life that the cares of this world and weeds of discouragement do not strangle and choke the potential bloom.

This bloom in all its beauty will bring glory to My name and testify of My faithfulness, just as your horticultural garden does.

                                                   Thus saith My Faithful Papa

Revelation 4:11  Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Ephesians 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

CHALLENGE: You may be facing rare seasons that others have not had to face, but these seasons will bring uniqueness to the potential bloom and harvest of your life. So don’t labor or strive to bloom in someone else’s potential, but rather bring glory to His name by resting in His faithfulness as the unique flower He created you to be.

In God We Trust?

Our Schools are failing — We forbade Him in the classroom

Our Courts — Many of our courts have removed the Ten Commandments

Our Homes — We often complain our children can’t pray in schools yet fail to pray with them  in our homes.

Our Law and Order — When we have no respect or fear of God we will have no respect for any authority of police, schools or parents.

Our Sexuality — Even the very core of our creation by God as male and female is being challenged.

Our Gift of Life — We loose respect for life when we murder the unborn. As you read this there will be 3,700 babies murdered today. Since 1973 there have been 58 million babies legally killed in the U.S.A.

In all aspects of our lives we have tried to delete God’s law of sowing and reaping, leaving us with an immature  society void of personal responsible.

Political correctness is strangling our laws and the very breathe of our nation as we abuse the words “Separation of Church and State which are not even in the constitution.

So where did the words “Separation of Church and State.” come from? They can be traced back to only a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote back in 1802. In October 1801, the Danbury Baptist Association of Connecticut wrote to President Jefferson, and in their letter they voiced some concerns about Religious Freedom. On January 1, 1802 Jefferson wrote a letter to them in which he added the phrase “Separation of Church and State.” When you read the full letter, you will understand that Jefferson was simply underscoring the First Amendment as a guardian of the peoples religious freedom from government interference.

When Thomas Jefferson wrote his letter to the Danbury Baptist Association he never intended the words “Separation of Church and State” to be taken out of context and used as a substitute for the First Amendment, but for all practical purposes that is exactly what the courts have done.

“I tremble for my country,” said Thomas Jefferson, “when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever.” –

A sobering warning from George Washington on April 30, 1789, when he delivered his famous Inaugural Address to both Houses of Congress. “We ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained.” He had just taken the oath of office on the balcony of Federal Hall in New York City, with his hand upon a Bible opened to Deuteronomy, Chapter 28:And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.

George Washington also wrote this about what he felt made America great:

“It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”

To make America great again we need God back in our government, society, homes, schools, and our lives.

Is Your Heart on Fire for God?

images-12

Dear Child,

You praise Me not only through song but you praise Me everyday through your life by your words, your thoughts, your attitudes and your actions.

A heart of gratitude is a praising heart

A heart of humility is a worshipping heart

A heart of holiness is a regenerated heart

A heart that surrenders to My will is a trusting heart.

Thus saith Papa

Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me. Isaiah: 29:13

CHALLENGE: Is your everyday life only lukewarm or is it on fire for Him?

Touring God’s House Of Gold

screen-shot-2016-09-10-at-3-29-45-pm

As we leisurely toured God’s House of Gold, at a local ministry in Nazareth, we took time to digest the hidden truths we uncovered. Everywhere we excavated we dug up nuggets of truth, each added depth and color, as the largest and most exciting picture of redemption in history, gradually unfolded before our very eyes, as each transforming truth jumped to life in our hearts.

A study that did more than feed minds with historical facts, but rather a study that gave us a deeper understanding in the transformation of our temples into houses of gold where God now dwells by His spirit.

Since God devoted only two chapters to all of creation but fifty chapters to the Tabernacle, surely this should tell us the importance God has placed on this colorful tapestry of His plan of redemption. A tapestry woven in gold, silver and brass with threads of blue, scarlet and purple.

A heart of integrity

integrity

Dear Child,

A heart of integrity will lead you to a life of righteousness. Let your ‘nay’ be ‘nay’ and your ‘yea’ be ‘yea’. Do not be doubled minded.

A heart of integrity will lead you to trust yourself and you will have peace within.

A heart of integrity will not act in haste because you know your heart will hold you accountable.

A heart of integrity will have a conscience clear before God and man, and will thus hear My voice clearly.

                                                        Thus saith Papa

Proverbs 11:3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them:

Psalm 15:1- 4 A psalm of David. LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD, WHO KEEPS HIS OATH EVEN WHEN IT HURTS.

Whatever the nature of the contract, when the word of a Christian has been given, the promise must be honored. Because God keeps His word we have salvation; He is true to His pledge. The Gibeonites craftily deceived Joshua, and he made peace with them before discovering their plot (Joshua 9:19). Nevertheless, God insisted that the terms of the covenant be honored, and generations later withheld rain because King Saul went back on that undertaking. God will not permit us to carelessly destroy a covenant. He who insisted that Joshua should spare the Gideonites, and later that King David should avenge the wrong done to them, expects us to be true to our word, even if it be to our own disadvantage

Integrity means “a quality or state of being complete or undivided”

When our lips say “yes” in haste, yet our hearts are saying “no” we have become a divided person! To have a heart of integrity we must say what we mean and mean what we say!

Challenge: Always count the cost before making any promise, because God will hold us accountable to keep our word whether it was made wisely or unwisely, whether it will be to our advantage or disadvantage.
