All We Like Sheep Have…..

It is a known fact that sheep are dumb creatures. Perhaps the reason why God uses sheep as a window to our souls of our lost condition in Isaiah 53:6 “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
This side of Calvary we have an opportunity to follow after the Lamb Of God. Matthew 4:19 “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” If we follow Him we will be on the narrow way to life as Matthew 7:14 warns us “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Have you found it?

Happiness Is…….

Today’s Food for Thought:
People can forget what you said, people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

An Oxymoron from God’s Word

When we are weak then we are strong

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee:for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

We might impress people with our strengths, but we connect with people through our weaknesses.

2 Corinthians 1:2-4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God

Time Flying By Just Like A Vapor!

2018 is the year of our 54th.Wedding Anniversary! Truly time flies by just like a vapor as the Word tells. Can it really be 55 years since John drove all across England on his motor cycle from Ipswich, Suffolk to Hereford, Herefordshire which is located on the border of Wales, just to propose to his girlfriend who was stationed at R.A.F. Credenhill?
Just in case you are wondering I did said “yes” before he had to turn around and drive back during the nigh to his base at R.A.F. Wattisham t for duty which was on the other side of England.

Just as a matter of interest that is the same beautiful country side in the movie “Shadowlands” about the life of C.S. Lewis where he spent time with his new bride.

God turns broken pieces into masterpieces.
