“ Think not because you are now wed.
That all your courtship’s at an end.”~Antonio Hurtado de Mendoza
Flowers and especially roses have always been associated with romance and courtshipSo, husbands, don’t forget to court your wife especially this week when there are more roses available and sold than any other time of the year.
Above the swing at my rose garden reads a plaque “I Never Promised You a Rose Garden”.
So thank you, John, for going beyond and giving me that rose garden that is not only a continual Valentine but is also like a sacrificial courtship as you help me feed, weed, water and trim the roses that bring me so much joy.
Just the beauty and fragrance as the rose bud unfolds reminds me of the beauty of the Lord as He reveals more of Himself to me where I meet with Him daily at my rose garden during the summer months. I so enjoy cutting my roses to give them to others to brighten their day to share His love for I believe every rose is an autograph from the Hand of God. My roses also remind me to be thankful for although many may complain that there are thorns on roses but I would rather thank God that He put roses on a thorn bush!
Now husbands you don’t have to give your wife a whole rose garden, just a single rose will display the beauty and fragrance of your romantic love.
