I have often wondered why I needed to pray for something when according to the Word, He already knows before I ask, “be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him” (Matthew 6:8). Then I realized that I need to pray in order that I might be changed. Our prayer time is more about changing and maturing us than having our needs met.
