Thoughts for the New Year

“We often spend January pensively walking through the storeroom of our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives…not looking for flaws, but for potential.”

Why do we all too often only consider Adam’s condition and failings after the fall never stopping for a moment to consider his condition and potential before the fall? The Lord Jesus died to restore that which was lost.

I like thoughts on walking through the storeroom of our lives and taking inventory of things that offer potential growth opportunities. A little confused on your reference to Adam’s condition and failings. Adam was a willing participant in the temptation of Eve in the “Original” sin. Confused to Adam’s condition and failings part.
